European Barn Landscape

Antique Original Oil 

Beautiful antique European oil painting of an old barn at the bank of a stream through the woods. A short line of white geese are walking down the bank to the water. No obvious signature, though there are pencil notations and the remains of a label on the back of the artist's board. The painting is in a very nice, antique gilded wood batwing or piecrust style frame. There is some darkening to the varnish on the painting and age-related craquelure throughout.

All antique items have some evidence of wear which is part of their charm. The history and soul of the piece are in its handmade nature.

May have minor imperfections due to aging.
