This piece was painted on location in Cheddar England. While my family was hiking I snuck off to the other side of the Gorge to paint. As I was finishing up my painting the dark clouds above and much of the paint smeared and washed off. I was soaked head to toe and with cold fingers packed up as fast as I could before heading down the hill slogging through puddles of mud to my car where I met up with my wife and kids. It was a painting adventure I will never forget.
