I was born in Utah and raised in the small farming town of Kaysville. When I was a boy my friends and I would wander around west Kaysville where there was a lot of farmland. We spent a lot of time walking along the ditch banks there. I can remember the sunsets even now.
Planted in my mind was how the colors of the fields changed. The sun shone across the farmland leaving a golden glow.
I believe these wanderings are still with me when I paint today enabling me to paint what I have learned.
