At the meeting of two paths, Christ carries a lamb, a symbol of His care and guidance when the way forward is unclear. The painting was inspired by the hymn “Lead, Kindly Light” and the way Christ will help lead us forward even when the distant path cannot be seen.
Artist Bio:
Jordan Jones is an oil painter and charcoal artist with a BA in Drawing and Painting from Brigham Young University. Inspired from a young age by watching his father paint in the garage, he has been creating personal and commissioned work for over 30 years, blending classical technique with a personal, reflective style. For this spring show, his work explores faith, renewal, and the natural world, including pieces focused on Christ and the Easter story, as well as animals, still lifes, and landscapes. As a husband and father of five, he draws inspiration from family life, quiet walks, and the beauty of everyday moments.
