Artist Statement:

As long as I can remember, art has always been one of my favorite things in life. In high school I enjoyed my art classes and started drawing portraits. While raising a young family, trying to purchase an original oil painting was out of the question so I started taking painting classes with local Utah artists like Bonnie Posselli, Anne Marie Oborn and Linda Turner, at least one evening a week. I also participated in oil painting and watercolor workshops with several other artists throughout the years. It has been a joy painting seasonal still life, favorite places or landscapes on location and in studios.

Biking in Park City, especially around the trails by Osguthorpe barn now called McPolin barn is one of our favorite recreational activities. The landscape with horses grazing in a pasture of rolling green hills is a refreshing sight to see.

Beautiful paintings not only add beauty, but personal character and love to a home.
