The Osguthorpe Barn has been designated as a “Heritage Amenity” in Park City, UT.

Biking in Park City, especially along the trails near the historic Osguthorpe Barn (now known as the McPolin Barn), is one of our favorite recreational activities. The scenic landscape, with horses grazing in pastures surrounded by rolling green hills, offers a refreshing and peaceful escape.

Artist Statement:

Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My interest began in high school, where I especially enjoyed my art classes. Later, while raising a young family, purchasing original oil paintings was beyond my reach, so I pursued my love of art by taking painting classes with talented local Utah artists, including Bonnie Posselli, Anne Marie Oborn, Ed Maryon, and Linda Turner. Over the years, I also had the privilege of participating in oil and watercolor workshops with other accomplished artists, which deepened my skills and appreciation for the craft.

Painting has brought immense joy in my life, whether capturing seasonal still-life, landscapes, or scenes from favorite places both in studios and en plein air.

A beautiful painting does more than decorate a space—it brings personality, character, and joy to a home, creating an atmosphere that feels uniquely welcoming and inspiring.
