While in England we visited a number of the National Trust Estates and toured their beautiful gardens. As it was spring, many of the apple trees had beautiful pink and red blossoms. I didn’t have a chance to paint any of these trees from life, but I took lots of photo reference with the intention of bringing them to life and paint when I got back.
