Perfect for the Holidays

Artist Statement:

As long as I can remember, art has always been one of my favorite things in life. In high school I enjoyed my art classes and started drawing portraits. While raising a young family, trying to purchase an original oil painting was out of the question so I started taking painting classes with local Utah artists like Bonnie Posselli, Anne Marie Oborn and Linda Turner, at least one evening a week. I also participated in oil painting and watercolor workshops with several other artists throughout the years. It has been a joy painting seasonal still life, favorite places or landscapes on location and in studios.

For a fun family tradition, our children would go hunting for the perfect Christmas tree and decorate it with a collection of old and handmade ornaments. I love the refreshing and calming scent of a real pine tree in our home.

Beautiful paintings not only add beauty, but personal character and love to a home.
