This piece was based off of a plein air study. I did well in London. In this painting, I tried to capture the shimmering light reflecting off the River Thames. I also wanted to capture the silhouettes of Parliament and Big Ben. While in London, we fought massive crowds of people as it was a bank holiday. It seemed everyone was out and about. There was steady streams of pedestrians, crossing the bridge while double-decker buses crossed behind them.
