Timothy has been in various special art education programs, schools, and studios since he was 12 years old. For as long as he has been using oil paint, he has been painting the landscape. Timothy's formal education began in Maryland under Micheal Pieolchinski and Jane Walsh. They taught him to love spontaneity and color. He spent many hours over many years next to Micheal Pieolchinski working on landscape paintings. When Timothy moved to Utah in 2017, He continued his education at as many different studios and academies that would allow him to study art. Since finishing his Formal education he has participated in, juried for, and won many landscape art competitions.​ His art can be found in many Galleries around Salt Lake City.

Artist Statement:

I love art. I love painting it. I love looking at it. I love thinking about it. I feel that art is needed more and more as this world fills up with A.I. and screens. Art is communication. I believe that very little on the spectrum of shared human experience can be communicated without art. I feel that, when painting nature, there should be a little bit of randomness in the paint. I often use methods that will embody randomness in nature.
