Artist Lisa Brennan’s love for the outdoors inspired her to experiment with oil painting. It didn’t take long for her to become hooked to the buttery feel of the paint and the meditative experience she felt while painting. Whether it be a figurative, still life or landscape painting, Lisa prefers an impressionistic style. She especially enjoys plein air painting as a means to capture the beauty around her and the connection to nature it invokes. She travels near and far with her easel including the Coastal South, Utah and Europe. Her paintings reflect a calm serenity with soft colors and soothing scenes.
