Josepha (Joa) Suorez lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children. She’s a poet and painter, teaches seasonally through the Yosemite Conservancy, and helps keep the Anderson Collection at Stanford humming. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, Poetry from St. Mary’s College.
