Scott earned, with distinction, a degree from Art Center College of Design, specializing in Product Design, thereby learning to design novel products. Through this process, he developed expertise in creating stylish sketches and scale models, preceding the dominance of computer-generated imagery. Scott spent most of his career working with renowned strategic visual marketing firms in San Francisco, serving as both a full-time employee and a highly respected consultant. Approximately a decade ago, he ventured into Representational Landscape Painting, necessitating an adjustment from his traditional approach to conceptual art and design to interpreting the natural world.
